Ce dernier devrait s\u2019occuper de la maintenance lourde des avions \u00abC-130 Hercules\u00bb et \u00abF-16 Fighting Falcon\u00bb. Ce lancement vient renforcer la position du Maroc en tant que centre r\u00e9gional de maintenance, de r\u00e9paration et de r\u00e9vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans un communiqu\u00e9, Sabena Engineering a soulign\u00e9 que \u00abCe projet met en \u00e9vidence une puissante synergie entre les expertises marocaines, belges et am\u00e9ricaines, toutes unies par une ambition commune de cr\u00e9er un centre d\u2019excellence pour la maintenance a\u00e9ronautique et la formation technique\u00bb. Selon St\u00e9phane Burton, PDG de Sabena Engineering, \u00abCette construction est plus qu\u2019une infrastructure, elle incarne une ambition collective et une confiance mutuelle entre des partenaires engag\u00e9s pour l\u2019avenir de la maintenance a\u00e9ronautique\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour sa part, Ray Piselli, Vice-Pr\u00e9sident des Affaires internationales de Lockheed Martin, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que \u00abCette collaboration va au-del\u00e0 du renforcement des capacit\u00e9s. Elle cr\u00e9e des emplois hautement qualifi\u00e9s et stimule la croissance industrielle au Maroc, renforce notre partenariat avec Orizio Group Sabena Engineering et soutient l\u2019industrie manufacturi\u00e8re am\u00e9ricaine, d\u00e9montrant ainsi qu\u2019un v\u00e9ritable partenariat est garant d\u2019une s\u00e9curit\u00e9 durable et d\u2019une prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 partag\u00e9e pour toutes nos nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le futur hangar devrait entrer en service au second semestre 2026. Sa cr\u00e9ation a \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9e en avril 2022 pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de maintenance et de support de Forces Royal Air. Il servira \u00e0 la maintenance lourde et \u00e0 la modernisation des plateformes des \u00abC-130\u00bb et \u00abF-16 Fighting Falcon\u00bb.
